I keep my sessions slow and relaxed so your kids have space to be themselves, and you have space to actually breathe and enjoy them. No performance required — just your family, exactly as you are right now.
My all-inclusive sessions are designed to help you slow down and see the beauty in your everyday life. Whether we are outdoors or in the comfort of your home, the experience is relaxed, natural, and centered entirely around your family.
Below you will find the different ways we can tell your story. Every session includes high-resolution edited images, a private online gallery, and my guidance on styling and locations.
BEFORE WE MEET
Every session begins with a conversation. We’ll talk about your family, what this season of life looks like, what you want to remember, and what feels meaningful to you. I’ll help you choose a location, plan outfits if you’d like, and make sure you feel prepared without over-planning the experience.
THE SESSION
Sessions usually last around 90 minutes. There is no rush to get everything done in 20 minutes. We have time for your children to warm up, for everyone to settle in, and for real moments to unfold naturally. I’ll guide you when needed, but I won’t spend the entire session telling you where to stand and how to pose. Instead, we’ll move, play, explore, cuddle, talk, and simply be together.
YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS
80+ carefully edited high-resolution images. Your final gallery will tell the story of your session as a whole — from the wildest laughs to the quietest pauses. Your images are professionally edited and delivered through an online gallery within approximately 3 weeks.
I photograph sessions primarily on digital, with the option to add a roll of 35mm color film — a beautiful way to bring a nostalgic, classic feel to your photographs.
THIS ISN’T A PHOTOSHOOT YOU HAVE TO PERFORM FOR
I don’t expect your children to sit still. I don’t expect everyone to smile at the camera. And I definitely don’t expect you to know what to do in front of it.
I’ll give you direction when it helps, especially if you’re feeling unsure, but most of the time I’ll be watching. Watching the way your daughter reaches for your hand. The way your toddler runs back to you. The way your family fits together. Because those are the photographs you’ll come back to years from now. The goal isn’t one perfect photograph. It’s a collection of photographs that feels like your family.

Richmond has so many beautiful places for family stories — gardens, fields, trails, rivers, and quiet corners where children can run free. We can choose a location that feels beautiful to you or simply find somewhere that gives your family room to be themselves.

MOTHERHOOD MEMBERSHIP
A curated series of sessions to document your journey from pregnancy through your baby’s first years. This is for the family that values consistent storytelling and wants to preserve every milestone.

FAMILY DAY — $1300
For families who want more than a session — a whole chapter.
Four hours gives us time to document the rhythm of your actual day: breakfast, getting dressed, backyard play, errands, a walk around the neighborhood, afternoon cuddles, dinner together. This is the ultimate storytelling experience. I spend up to 4 hours with you, documenting the “mundane” but precious rituals that make up your life — the morning pancakes, the backyard play, the neighborhood walks. These sessions capture the essence of your family history in a way that a standard session cannot.

A shorter way to document this season of your life.
Sometimes you don’t need an hour. You just want a little time together, a beautiful location, and photographs that feel like you. The Weekday Storytelling Session is a 30-minute weekday experience designed for families who want something simple and intentional — without committing to a full storytelling session.
I’ll still guide you, help you plan your outfits and location, and photograph your family in the same natural, documentary-inspired style.

Payment & Travel Details
To make your experience as seamless as possible, I offer flexible payment plans. If your session takes us beyond the Richmond area, a travel fee will apply based on mileage, ensuring I can come to you wherever you are.
35mm Film Add-On — $50
Add a roll of authentic 35mm film to your session for those nostalgic, imperfect, beautifully unexpected moments. Your film photographs are professionally developed and scanned and delivered alongside your digital gallery.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOUR GALLERY?
Once you receive your photographs, you can choose to keep them digital or turn your favorites into something tangible. I offer a selection of fine-art prints and handcrafted albums, so if you’d like to have your photographs printed, framed, or gathered into an album, I’m always happy to help you choose what works best for your family and your home.
