Anna created such a comfortable space for us to feel natural in our home. Having candid photos in our own space allowed for her creativity and she truly created works of art! We also now have these memories of this season of life captured for us to keep forever. Anna photographed our new little one just weeks after she was born. She came to our home and made it super easy for us. During the session we felt extremely comfortable and we were able to be in the moment. Last but not least we were blown away with the photos! Anna had a tough job to capture such a celebratory, but raw moment for my family. Motherhood photo session was amazing. The photos turned out so beautiful they look like they are out of a magazine!! Anna is a super genuine and talented photographer and I’m so grateful we were able to have her take photos of our growing family. We are in a super stressful time in our lives where moments are sweet but they are also disorganized, loud and overwhelming with 3 kids 4 and under — but Anna made taking photos of our family feel really special and easy. Working with Anna was one of the best experiences we have had. Before the actual photo session she offered to come over and help pick out outfits. The photo session itself was so relaxed, half the time we forgot she was even taking photos! To the naked eye the photos are stunning documentary style photos but to us (the subjects) they are so much more than that. She has this intuition to capture the little things in your home that mean so much to you without you even telling her (like the bulldog mobile hanging above our sons bed that was a special gift from a family member). She has an incredible knack for easily and beautifully capturing the small memories that may have easily slipped away had that photo not been taken, all the while making you feel so at ease. She turned around our photos so quickly and made accessing and downloading the photos seamless.

When I first saw the photographs, I could not hold back my tears, they touched me so much. It was incredible! Every touch, every look is conveyed so beautifully and fragilely, in every picture you can see feelings, you can see love and this special closeness of ours, a mother and her baby.

Hi Anna!! We finally had time to settle back into life after our trip and I just wanted to thank you again for capturing these moments in our family. 

We go through this life daily, with these games and these dances and these smiles. I often look at the kids and wish I could freeze time so I could remember it all and go back to these moments. You’ve somehow managed to use your lens to do that for me.

After just making the deadline to finally download all nearly 200 photos, looking at each one brings me back to that day. A day that I can truly feel and remember by looking at every real expression we have, and how beautifully Anna captures those moments. 

The photoshoot served two purposes: capturing a moment in our current life that’s crazy but fun, exhausting and stressful, full of love and full of emotion. Anna helped bring all that to these images that we can hold onto forever. 

Additionally, we wanted to be able to remember our home where we spent 4 years and became a family of four. We went through lockdown together there and said goodbye to our old cat, Hugo, there.
